Gulf States tightening the grip around Hezbollah

The latest measure against Hezbollah is the cancellation of the residence permits for sixty Lebanese linked to Hezbollah by Kuwait, after it had earlier deported eleven Lebanese and three Iraqis supporting the party, according to media sources.

Bahrain as well deported a number of Lebanese residents, after their affiliation or support to Hezbollah was proven.

The UAE also deported seventy Lebanese without disclosing the reasons. There is Gulf direct coordination at a high level to define the number of people whose work in the Gulf is undesirable, according to security sources, in addition to making a list of people proved to be affiliated with Hezbollah and provide financial, media and political support for it.
