De Mistura slams shelling of Aleppo hospital, says it’s a war crime

In an exclusive interview with Al Arabiya’s sister Al Hadath, UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura has warned that the ceasefire regime in Syria could collapse and called for bringing it back to the previous level ahead of the next round of peace talks.
He said that he does not believe shelling of Aleppo hospital was ‘a mistake’, calling it a war crime.

He added that the international community aims to create an inclusive Syrian government “that include all parties.”
The UN Special Envoy will visit Moscow next week and plans to meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, a Russian Foreign Ministry source said Thursday.
