Saudi victims in Istanbul attack: Two killed, one missing

Saudi Arabia's ambassador in Turkey Adel Mirdad said that two Saudi citizens were among the victims of the Istanbul bombings, after Turkish authorities, have corrected the toll.

He added that the number of the Saudis among the injured was reduced to 25 people. The ambassador added, in media statements, “it became clear that the four dead were not Saudis, bringing the number down to just two.”

He added that the Turkish authorities were able to find four missing Saudis, and continuous efforts embassy to search for another missing.

Previously, the ambassador said in a phone call with Al Arabiya Channel that the embassy was checking reports from Turkish authorities claiming that the suicide bombing in Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport has killed six Saudis and injured 27 others from the kingdom, with five citizens being considered “missing.”
