Robot playing leading role in fighting ISIS

Technology is a necessary weapon in order to take a minimum risk in the fight against Islamic State. Brusk Aras is a student from the mechanic department at the American University of Sulaimani, also known as AUIS.He has dedicated four years of his time working to develop a program for a robot that can detect mines and bombs. Dozens of Kurdish Peshmerga and Iraqi die every day as a result of IED or bombs that are planted by the militants. "The robot explodes when it falls into the hands of militants", says Brusk describing the robot.
