Hezbollah militia is silently suffering a financial crisis because of the recent American sanctions, which prohibited banks to deal with anyone found associated with the militia

The Militia tried to alleviate the crisis and echoed a new stand of the party which was expressed by the Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah Naim Qassem in an interview with "Reuters".

Qassem said that the US sanctions law, which prohibits banks to deal with the militia did not affect the it even by one percent.
Observers believe that this statement contradicts the truth, as confirmed information indicate that the militia, which receive the big bulk of its funding from Iran is suffering from a financial crisis which affects its heavy investments in and outside Lebanon.
