“The incident was handled according to the emergency plan in place since the beginning of the crisis in full coordination with relevant authorities,” the authority’s spokesperson Abdullah al-Rajhi told KUNA.
Al-Rajhi, KUNA said, affirmed the authority’s commitment to taking all the necessary measures to safeguard civil aviation security and safety in Kuwait.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran that killed its supreme leader and triggered a war in the Middle East.
Tehran has responded with drone and missile attacks across the region, including strikes that have hit neighboring countries that say they are neither involved in the war nor have allowed warring parties to launch attacks from their territory.
