At least three people were killed and nine wounded in Egypt‘s capital when gunmen opened fire at a Coptic Christian wedding ceremony on Sunday evening, according to Egypt's interior ministry.

Witnesses said that unidentified armed men were riding a motorcycle as they opened fire on a group of people as they exited a church located in Cairo's Al-Warak neighborhood.

It was not immediately clear if all casualties were Christians.

An eight-year-old girl, a woman and a man were killed in the attack, the health ministry said.
