Dubai police have arrested two teenage boys after a video went viral on social media showing them jumping off a bridge and into the Dubai Canal.
The police had launched a full scale manhunt for the teenagers, who were classified as Emirati because of the traditional clothing one was wearing and the dialect they were speaking in, officer Abdullah Khadem bin Soroor told local media.

In the video, the two boys are seen taking up positions on the bridge, with one doing a backflip into the Canal while the other jumping in.
“What they did was not strictly a crime, but they endangered their lives. They could have even lost their lives. They will be brought in to sign an undertaking that they would not repeat the act,” Khadem said.
