Sudan charges ousted leader al-Bashir with corruption

Sudan’s public prosecution has charged ousted President Omar al-Bashir of corruption, the official SUNA news agency said on Thursday.

SUNA quoted an unnamed official as saying that Bashir is facing charges including “possessing of foreign funds, acquiring suspected and illegal wealth and ordering (the state of) emergency.”
