Rockets seen flying over Deir al-Balah as bodies arrive at hospital

Smoke trails were seen in the sky Saturday morning as cars carrying bodies arrived among crowds of people outside Deir al-Balah hospital.

Hundreds were seen crowding outside the hospital, where many have sought shelter amid constant bombings.

It comes as heavy fighting continues across the Gaza Strip, and Palestinians are forced to flee and shelter into ever-smaller enclaves.

Hamas' October 7 attack from Gaza into southern Israel killed around 1,200 people, and some 250 others were taken hostage.

Israel’s air, ground and sea assault in Gaza has killed more than 22,400 people, two-thirds of them women and children, according to the Health Ministry in the Hamas-ruled territory.

The count does not differentiate between civilians and combatants.
