Israeli border police shoots dead 12-year-old Palestinian boy in east Jerusalem
A Palestinian boy was killed after being shot Tuesday by Israeli border police at a refugee camp in east Jerusalem, police said, in the first such fatality in the Israeli-annexed territory during Ramadan.
Rami Hamdan al-Halhuli, 12, suffered a fatal gunshot wound during clashes between residents of the Shuafat refugee camp and police, who said the child had aimed fireworks at them.
