Dismissed Yemeni transport minister, Aden governor fled with Aidarous al-Zubaidi: Sources
Dismissed Yemeni Transport Minister Abdel Salam Hamid and dismissed Aden Governor Ahmed Lamlas were among those who fled to Abu Dhabi with Southern Transitional Council (STC) leader Aidarous al-Zubaidi, Al Arabiya reported on Thursday citing sources.

Both officials were dismissed on Wednesday by Yemen’s Presidential Leadership Council after al-Zubaidi failed to broad a flight to Riyadh that was transporting STC delegation for talks and fleeing to an undisclosed location.
It wasn’t initially clear where al-Zubaidi fled to, but the Saudi-led coalition revealed on Thursday that al-Zubaidi and others fled Aden for Somaliland. In a statement, the coalition said they fled by sea after midnight on January 7 before traveling onward to Abu Dhabi under Emirati supervision.
