Saudi Arabia condemns Iranian attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain

Saudi Arabia on Sunday strongly condemned the “blatant” Iranian attacks against Kuwait and Bahrain, as well as attacks on security and freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement issued by the foreign ministry, Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its categorical rejection of the attacks, saying they constituted a violation of international law and the UN Charter.

The Kingdom said such violations undermine international efforts to restore security and stability in the region.

Saudi Arabia also renewed its solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain and affirmed its full support for all measures taken by the two countries to safeguard their sovereignty and security.
