US President Joe Biden will welcome UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed next week in the first-ever visit for an Emirati president to the White House.

Talks will center on the day-after plans for Gaza, the war in Sudan and artificial intelligence development.

National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby said Vice President Kamala Harris would also meet MBZ.

Kirby said other topics to be discussed will include climate, clean energy, and the UAE’s role as a partner in global infrastructure partnerships.

The UAE presidential visit was also reported by the Emirati state news agency WAM on Wednesday.

WAM said the two leaders will explore opportunities to boost their countries' partnership, particularly on the economy,
investment, technology, artificial intelligence, space, renewable energy, climate action and sustainability solutions.
