The timepiece, valued at approximately $1.3 million, is considered extremely rare, with only 12 pieces ever produced, according to Britain’s The Sun.

The watch features a black carbon fiber case and a skeletonized dial that reveals its internal mechanisms.

Photos of Messi wearing the watch circulated widely on social media, with reports describing the football star as accepting the gift “with great pleasure.”

During the footballer’s visit in India, scenes turned chaotic in Kolkata after Messi left Salt Lake Stadium after appearing for around 20 minutes.

Fans reportedly expressed anger over poor organization by throwing chairs and bottles, prompting authorities to escort Messi and his Inter Miami teammates, Luis Suárez and Rodrigo De Paul, out of the venue to avoid potential injuries.

Following the tour, Messi posted a message on Instagram thanking Indian fans for their reception.

“What incredible visits to Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. Thanks for the warm welcome, great hospitality and all the expressions of love throughout my tour. I hope football has a bright future in India!” he wrote.
