Egypt replaces 10 ministers, including interior, in Cabinet reshuffle
Ten ministers, including the interior minister Ahmed Gamal al-Din, will be replaced in Egypt’s anticipated Cabinet reshuffle, sources told Al Arabiya on Saturday.
The new Cabinet will be headed by the current Prime Minister of Egypt Hesham Mohamed Qandil and is due to be sworn in on Sunday.
According to the state news agency MENA, the new 10 ministers are:
Interior Minister: Mohamed Ibrahim
Finance Minister: El-Morsi Hegazy
Minister of Supply and Interior Trade: Bassem Ouda
Minister of Communication and Information Technology: Atef Helmi
Minister of State for Legal and Parliamentary Affairs: Omar Salem
Minister of Transportation: Hatem Abdel-latif
Minister of Electricity and Energy: Ahmed Emam
Minister of Local Development: Mohamed Ali Beshr
Minister of Civil Aviation: Wael El-Maadawy
Minister of State for Environmental Affairs: Khaled Abdel-Aal
