Saudi royal decrees name new governors, ministers

A series of Saudi royal decrees issued late on Monday night named new governors, deputy governors of provinces across the kingdom as well as new ministers to several posts.

The below are the decrees in relation to the posts of governors and ministers:

- Prince Fahd bin Badr bin Abdulaziz Al Saud relieved of his post as Governor of al-Jawf Region upon his request and Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud appointed as Governor of al-Jawf Region in the rank of minister.

- Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud appointed as Deputy Governor of Asir Region in the rank of minister.

- Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Miqren bin Abdulaziz Al Saud appointed as Deputy Governor of Ha’il Region in the rank of minister.

- Tariq bin Abdulaziz Alfaris appointed mayor of Riyadh region at the excellent rank.

- Dr. Osamah bin Fadhl Albar relieved of his post as mayor of Makkah and replaced with Mohammad bin Abdullah bin Mohammad Alqwaihis at the excellent rank.
