Three months after his death, TV channel airs ‘ghost’ of Indian actor
Weeks after the death of veteran Indian actor, Om Puri, a TV channel has cooked up a conspiracy story about his death.
In a CCTV footage, which dates back to January 14, purportedly shows a man wearing white clothes walking down to his house. The three-month old video came back in the eyes of social media users when a news channel allegedly telecast it in India. However, it was telecast by a Pakistani channel Bol News.
Aamir Liaquat, an anchor with the Pakistani channel, hinted that the actor’s ghost is seeking revenge and is haunting his Mumbai house. The veteran actor passed away due to a heart attack on January 6.
As expected, the footage was widely shared on social media with some expressing outrage over its distribution.
Perhaps the most outrageous part was the anchor of the television show suggesting that the ghost is looking for revenge from his killers.
