Gwyneth Paltrow tells Obama: ‘You’re too handsome!’

While hosting President Barack Obama in her house over the weekend, Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow attributed her fluster to the leader’s good looks, the Telegraph reported.

Paltrow hosted a Democratic National Committee event in her Los Angeles mansion in the wealthy neighborhood of Brentwood.

“You’re so handsome that I can’t speak properly,” she said as she introduced the president to her star-studded guests who included Julia Roberts and West Wing actor Bradley Whitford.

Expressing her admiration with Obama, Paltrow labeled herself as one of his “biggest fans, if not the biggest,” moving on to describing him as a “role model,” the British daily reported.

The event, which Obama attended as part of a three-day fundraising trip to California, cost guests between $1,000-$13,000 per person to attend, while an exclusive dinner also held in Paltrow’s house later that evening reportedly cost $32,000 a seat.

Guests mingled with Obama and entertainment giants as they were served wine, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.

As the evening drew to an end, a reportedly clumsy Paltrow explained to the president she was too distracted because of how handsome he is.

Following the kind words of his hostess, Obama thanked her and her two children, Apple, ten, and Moses, eight, for letting him “crash their house.”

This is not Paltrow’s first event in support of Obama. In 2011, with then-husband Coldplay front man Chris Martin, she hosted a fundraising event in their London home for the president’s re-election campaign.
