A heartbreaking Christmas letter written by a child to their dead father was found tied to a balloon in Scotland and has gone viral online
A heartbreaking Christmas letter written by a child to their dead father was found tied to a balloon in Scotland and has gone viral online.
The letter, which was found in a field in the county of Fife, was covered in hearts and included Christmas wish list as well as the child’s dream for their father to leave a note under their pillow.
It is not known where the child is a girl or a boy, but the letter read: “Hi dad, just writing a letter to tell you I’m missing you and tell you news”
In the letter, the child informs their father that they are currently in foster care as their mother is unwell.
They also add they are missing school and hope their dad is safe in heaven.
A photo of the letter was posted on the Love What Matters Facebook page, where it has been shared more than 8,000 times.
