Todd’s Welfare Society (TWS) in Lahore, Pakistan, is setting up and running pet shelters for unwanted stray animals. Its sole mission is to help animals in need.
The Society consists of a team of eight board members, nine team members and over 60 volunteers and interns.
It receives emergency calls round-the-clock about injured animals, hit-and-run cases, tortured pets, abandoned pets and many others.
They have two pet shelters in Lahore, one in cavalry ground and the other on Barki road. These pet shelters have fifty plus pets. Once healthy they are put up for adoption.
The future aim of this shelter is to open a no kill animal shelter for all the stray animals in Pakistan.
