Two Emirati soldiers die in Yemen
The United Arab Emirates says that two Emirati soldiers who are part of the Arab-coalition fighting for legitimacy in Yemen have died.
The state-run WAM news agency reported Private Suleiman Mohamed al-Zohouri was killed in combat, while Sgt. Nader Mubarak Issa Suleiman died of a heart attack.
The UAE is one of the main allies in the coalition against rebels known as Houthis and their allies.
The war in Yemen has killed more than 10,000 civilians and displaced over 3 million people. It began when Houthis seized Yemen's capital, Sanaa, in September 2014.
The coalition began its campaign in March 2015 in support of Yemen's internationally recognized government.
The war has ground into a stalemated conflict in recent months. Peace efforts by the United Nations also have faltered.
