U.S.-led coalition warplanes targeted Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in 16 airstrikes in Iraq and 15 against the militant group in Syria, the U.S. military said in a statement on Friday.
In Iraq, the warplanes struck targets near Baiji, Fallujah,Habbaniyah, Haditha, Makhmur, Mosul, Sinjar and Tal Afar, Reuters news agency reported.
In Syria, the coalition targeted ISIS positions near Al Hasakah, Aleppo, Raqqah, Ayn Isa, Kobani and Tal Abyad.
