Warning sirens sound in Israel as Hamas says it targets Tel Aviv with rockets

Sirens warning of possible incoming rockets sounded in several areas in central Israel on Friday, the Israeli military said, for the first time since hostilities between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas resumed following a week-long truce.

Hamas’ armed wing Ezzedine al-Qassam brigades said in a statement on its Telegram channel that it had targeted Tel Aviv with a salvo of rockets.
