Stanford University has ranked 14 researchers from Saudi Arabia’s Alfaisal University among the world’s top two percent of scientists, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

According to SPA, the list is divided into two main categories: Career-long impact – which measures long-term scientific contributions – and annual impact – which highlights recent, high-impact research.
Several Alfaisal University faculty members were featured in both categories for their achievements across various scientific disciplines.
The recognition underscores Alfaisal University’s growing role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s research landscape and reflects the Kingdom’s broader efforts to strengthen its position as a global hub for innovation and education under Vision 2030.
The milestone reinforces the confidence of the international academic community in Saudi scientific talent and its ability to compete at the highest levels of global research, the SPA report noted.
