A picture of the Saudi flag displayed on Egypt's Giza pyramids has been circulating on social media on Monday, with users putting the hashtag ‘Crown Prince in his second country Egypt.’
Many say that the picture is photoshopped, and Al Arabyia English has verified that the pyramids have indeed not been adorned with the flag.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s had made a visit to Egypt in the third leg of a tour through the Arab world by the Saudi Crown Prince after visits to Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, Egyptian state news agency MENA said.
He is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations with Egyptian President Abdelfattah al-Sisi.
This is the crown prince’s second visit to Egypt this year, reflecting the depth and strength of the strategic relations between the two countries.
