Saudi Arabia condemns Israel’s ‘blatant bombing’ of UNRWA school in Gaza
Saudi Arabia condemned and denounced Israel’s “blatant bombing” of an UNRWA school in northern Gaza on Saturday.
In a statement posted on platform X, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated “the Kingdom's complete rejection of the systematic targeting of civilians, while demanding an immediate ceasefire.”

The statement also reiterated the necessity of “activating international mechanisms for holding Israel accountable for its ongoing violations of international humanitarian law and resolutions of international legitimacy.”
An official of the Hamas-run health ministry in the Gaza Strip said more than 80 people were killed in double Israeli strikes on the Jabalia refugee camp which had been converted into a shelter for displaced Palestinians, AFP reported earlier on Saturday.
“At least 50 people” were killed in an Israeli strike at dawn on the UN-run Al-Fakhura school in the camp, which had been converted into a shelter for displaced Palestinians, the official told AFP.
Meanwhile, the head of the UN Palestinian refugee agency (UNRWA) said on Saturday it had received “horrifying” images and footage of scores of people killed and injured in an attack on the UNRWA school in the north of Gaza.
