The first plane carrying food, medical and shelter aid through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) left King Khalid International Airport in the morning and arrived at for Rafik Hariri International Airport around noon.
The Saudi support to Lebanon comes as Israel has in recent weeks upped its attack on the country in an operation it says aimed to weaken the Iran-backed Hezbollah group.
Israel and Hezbollah have been engaged in cross border attacks in the aftermath of the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
In addition to sending the aid plane, a rescue relief team is also headed to Beirut to offer support, Al Arabiya reported.
