Saudi Arabia intercepts, destroys 17 drones in regions of Riyadh, Eastern province

Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed 17 drones in the regions of Riyadh and the Eastern province, the Saudi defense ministry said on Sunday.

Later on Sunday, the ministry said that it destroyed four drones in the Riyadh region after intercepting them.

The ministry had earlier announced that it intercepted and destroyed several drones in the eastern province alone.

The Kingdom had announced Saturday evening that six ballistic missiles launched towards al-Kharj Governorate were intercepted and destroyed.
