Print your book at the Riyadh exhibition in 120 seconds
The Instant book printer is one of the new services that the Ministry of Culture and Information was keen to provide at the Riyadh Book Fair 2017 to serve authors, publishers and visitors. The printer enables authors to print 50 copies of their books immediately after getting the permit mail.
Mouadh al Moqubel, the administrator in charge of the Instant Printer said that the machine endorses Saudi writers by printing their books for free at the Riyadh Book Fair indicating that the printer is 6 meters long and provides thermal packaging and stapled pamphlet at a speed of 100 A3 sheets per minute. It is composed of six pieces and six technicians supervise the work process.
He added that by the fifth day, 10 books were printed at the exhibition, at a rate of 50 copies per author. A 250 pages book takes about two and a half minute to imprint. The Fair had a big turnout since the start and the crowd continued to come.
The fully integrated digital printer was purchased by the Ministry and inaugurated for the first time at the Book Fair. “My mother Nora” by Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Ismail was the first book engraved by the printer and the number of its pages is 250.
