Custom ‘Diamond Ecstasy’ iPhone 6 could top $3.5 mln in bling
Models can come with diamonds set in different places including the Apple logo
British company, Goldgenie has created the ultimate in bling - a limited edition IPhone 6 aimed at the rich and wealthy, costing up to $3.5 million, tech website CNET reported on Tuesday.
“Diamond Ecstasy,” as the model was dubbed, takes a regular iPhone 6 and coats it with your choice of gold, platinum or rose gold.
And customers have the option of studding their IPhone 6 with emeralds, sapphires, black diamonds, pink diamonds or rubies. The precious stones can be set in the phone, including in the Apple logo.
"We are providing clients with the option to customize their phones with their own choice of precious stones and larger diamonds, which could increase the price of the phone to anything up to £2.3 million [$3.5 million] and even beyond," a Goldgenie spokesperson told Crave, CNET reported.
CNET reported that on launch day for the Diamond Ecstasy, the UK luxury company accepted five orders for the $15,200 model of the phone.
