Dubai is hosting the city’s first sleep challenge on September 16 to identify the best snoozer.

The three-hour contest involves competitors having to fall asleep and the longest napper will be declared winner.

The event includes challenges where contestants have to try and sleep on mattresses by a company sponsoring the event, amid all the commotion coming from visitors and exhibitors.

Requirements for being part of the contest is to write a 150 word story talking about a strange sleeping experience.

Only four participants will be chosen for the challenge.

Winner will be rewarded with "a uniquely designed bed," according to local media.
