A young Egyptian couple chose to boost tourism in Egypt by documenting their trips around the country on an Instagram page.
They began to tour Egypt’s governorates and photographing the wonderful landmarks in the cities on the way .
Their Instagram page is called “Around Egypt in 60 Days” and they captioned each image with Arabic and English description of the sites they enjoyed.
The photos capture a variety of popular Egyptian locations such as the Citadel, Mohammad Ali Palace, and the historical cities of Upper Egypt, the north coast and Sinai.
They aim with their posts to show ways of experiencing Egypt, which has one-third of the world’s monuments, and thereby encourage more domestic and overseas tourists.
They also announced that they will be publishing a book soon documenting their journey around Egypt in 60 days based on their accounts.
The book will entail exciting stories and breath-taking photos of Egypt's touristic attractions.
It will also feature each attraction's geographical location, opening hours, ticket fees and feedback on each tourist site.
