Yorva Tsiakara

Yorva Tsiakara is a journalist, currently based in London, but her home is in Athens, Greece. She decided on her future career, when she was ten. In 1999, while still in primary school, she wrote a letter to George Bush, trying to convince him to not invade Iraq if elected in 2000. At the age of 18, she moved to South Africa, but one year later she flew to Paris to study law. Although she managed to obtain a law degree, she never used it. Yorva couldn’t stop herself from writing, so she decided to move to England and pursue her passion, both academically and professionally.
