Qatar continues to promote extremism and terrorism; in a threat not only to neighboring countries, but also to the entire world, with its massive material, political and media support for the Muslim Brotherhood, from which all groups of extremism and terrorism diverge.

As the Emir of Qatar said at the recent Arab summit in Amman that the Brotherhood is a "political opposition", the Qatari media were working to promote that hypothesis while advancing internationally sanctioned terrorists such as the leader of the Nusra Front who shares the Brotherhood's creed of thought.

After changing its name from the Nusra front to the Fatah al-Sham front in an open maneuver to avoid sanctions, their leader, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, was a guest on Al Jazeera.

During the meeting, the interviewer Ahmed Mansur asked his guest: “Your approach is not very different from that of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was developed by Hassan al-Banna, and later by Sayed Qutb, especially in the matter of Jihadism”; adding: “Why don’t you declare yourselves members of the Muslim Brotherhood,” he said, “ instead of pledging allegiance to al-Qaeda and provoking the world”, in an apparent attempt to get a live recognition from Julani that belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood is accepted according to the West, as he put it.

When Julani didn’t fall into the trap of the presenter, the latter insisted on extracting a confession from him admitting that the ideology of the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda was identical. Eventually, Al-Julani acknowledged that al-Qaeda and the Brotherhood are guided by the same ideology.
